Encyclopedia Michael Nellis

The Encyclopedia Michael Nellis is a vast collection of nonsensical material that is either humourous or raw unadulterated truth tinged with cynicism. Come to think of it, what raw unadulterated truth is not tinged with cynicism?

To search for an entry, keep in mind that every entry is listed entirely in upper case and terminated with a colon. IEv5.0 permits the user to opt for case sensitive searches. If your browser doesn't have that option, including the colon in the search string will ensure that you find the entry listing instead of every similar word that is not followed by a colon.

The main body of the work was comprised, as of 30 Aug 2000, of nine hundred ninety five entries. As of 18 Sep 2000, the count was up to 1,012 entries despite my having moved a number to various appendices.

As of 29 November 2000, the number of entries was up to 1,022. As of 05 February 2001, that was down to 1,018 entries after creating a couple of new appendices. Since the Encyclopedia Michael Nellis is subject to constant and sporadic updating, however, I will count only the number of current entries instead of marking every date. Starting 01 Jan 2003.

As of 01 Aug 2007 the number of entries in the main volume is: 1,213
The total number of entries throughout the work is: 2,511

There are now forty appendices. Each appendix contains material common to a theme; or sometimes only a single entry. Originally I grouped it that way to keep the main file from getting so large that the text editor wouldn't have been able to handle it. What it means now is that a surfer won't have to wait so long for the main file to load, and that he or she has less material to scroll through.
